Get spookily creative with costumes, décor, and art using materials that the Makerspace carries (3D printing, sewing, painting & more)!

How it works:

  • Your project must use supplies available in the Makerspace (3D printing, sewing, painting, etc.). You can work at home as long as the medium is something we carry. Not sure if your design qualifies? Ask a Makerspace librarian!
  • Show off your creativity: Your project must be your own original design (inspiration is fine, but the final work should be all you!)
  • Enter by October 15: Drop off your project at the Makerspace or email a photo with your name, phone number, and a short description of your project to ask@rcplib.org.
  • Vote October 16–22: Stop by the library to vote for your favorites!
  • Winners announced October 24:
    • 1st place: $10 Makerspace gift card
    • 2nd & 3rd place: Get to choose from the prize box!
  • Pick up projects by October 31
