Join Custer State Park for a presentation on owls and how pellets are formed, then dissect an owl pellet and see for yourself what it is made up of!

Did you know owls get "hairballs?" About once a day, an owl spits up a ball of hair and bones--leftovers from their most recent meals--called an owl pellet! Together we will dissect these pellets and piece together what these nighttime predators had for dinner!
